Every piece of Gentle Spirit 
Creations jewelry is handmade by me, Janine Broscious. I make each piece as if it were for myself out of only quality materials: gemstones, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver, and freshwater pearls. These are strung onto the best stringing material I have been able to find, 49 strands of stainless steel wire covered with nylon.
I love stones! Each one is unique and therefore lends itself to discovery and creativity. At rock and gem shows one of my favorite activities is to dig through the stones that have been slabbed. Each one of these slabs has such potential. In my studio I cut and polish these stones into beautiful gems that I then wrap with sterling silver or gold filled wire to make them into one-of-a-kind pendants. Then I fashion them into unique beaded necklaces or let their beauty stand alone as pendants to be worn on a chain or omega necklace. You won’t ever find anyone else wearing the same necklace.
But, I love silver too! Each silver pendant used in my jewelry has been made in my own studio from .999 Fine Silver. These one-of-a-kind pendants are my own designs. Each one is different since I create, polish, burnish, and oxidize them with my own hands.
Wire artistry is another technique that I specialize in. I start with just a piece of Sterling or Gold-filled wire and form a wire shape. Then I hammer it and weave gorgeous stone beads on it. I end up with a beautiful pendant, earrings or bracelet.
As you can imagine, each piece takes quite a while to make and I grow attached to them. I’m always tempted to keep the latest design for myself, but wish to share them with you! I hope you enjoy wearing these creations as much as I have delighted in making them for you! -Janine

I fell in love at first site with your beautiful, graceful, jewelry and when I spoke with you to order “my hummingbird” you were so incredibly humble I was blown away by both your talent and your humility. I love the story of how you started without knowing anything about making jewelry. I get compliments on the pieces you’ve made every time I go out, and you were also so pleasant working with me, even on the custom Family bracelet.
My husband will never run out of gifts for me since I met you. He said he loved to “lavish” me with jewels but he had run out of options; especially with my allergies to seemingly every metal. The niobium you have for those of us who are allergic to many metals is the highest quality, and I loved being able to wear earrings again!
I have my eye on a few pieces currently, but I’m not going to say which ones because I’m afraid they will get bought before I can start to save. I must admit there seems to be no end to your abilities, constantly surprising me with photos of pieces that look straight out of “Bride” magazine, or so naturally beautiful it’s hard to remember how much work goes into making each piece.
